Believers are encouraged to pray throughout the Bible. But in the Sermon on the Mount we see that Jesus expects His followers to pray. So, His instructions not only talk about how and where to pray but the attitude we should have when talking with God. The first step is to get alone and shut the door! (Matthew 6:5-8)
